Hollow Bones

IMG_0308-0In the depth of night,

In the silence of shadows,

A whisper sounds,

A sorrowful echo,

Of hollow bones and miserable mop,

It howls in fits of rage,

Trees shed their leaves,

Petals fall to the floor,

She wanders through rain and storm,

Her white gown toils through muddy banks,

Despair wraps it’s cold hands,

The knot tightens around her neck,

For eternity she tramps the gallows.
