I’m Going To The Sea

I’m going to the sea,
I’m leaving behind the city streets,
I’m going to breathe the air,
Crisp and clean,
Sea salt, sand and cerulean,
Eaves of leaves, and charcoal lips,
Attics and shadowy tears,
Without nicotine, my skin will be a glossy shell,
Shallow breath and blackened lungs,
My heart revitalized under the sun,
I’m going to the sea.
