Vintage Bone and Rusted Iron

The walls,
Hollow and heavy,
Resonates and echoes a solemn sound,
Suffocating the living,

Ivy vines hangs from a sign,
Vintage bone and rusted iron,
Creeping in the night,
Drapes its tangled leaves,
Around,
Bare throat,
And ancient oath,

She stays,
Lapping at the gate,
Halted,
In haunted wraith,
White dress and lace,
Ghostly still,

Her veil,
Stroking the coil of the wind,
Whispering,
A tale long past,
A lifetime,
In remorse,
Spellbound on earth,
She searches the labyrinth of time.
