White Gardenia

A white gardenia floats along the tide,
Separated from the trees uplifting arms,
Alone and drifting,
A bud of floral scent,
Floating high over dells and dens,
A valley of pastels and dewdrops,
And wild blue yonder,
Under the warmth of sunlight,
Or guided by the moon,
The white gardenia floats on a watery dune,
Handpicked, by the soft hands of May,
Solo, she bathes in spring.

Entwined In Rain And River

Reds and gold, crimson bold,

A master piece,

A story told,

A lover’s qualm,

A soft charm,

The lights that sprinkle the moon above,

In this picture we will be lovers,

Entwined in rain and river,

Stroked and shaded,

Posed and paraded,

Locked enduringly,

For all of history,

Tinted as one.
